Owner and Principal
Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Nicholas graduated from Cleveland State University with a BS in Business Administration. Small business is in his background: at an early age he learned the family business, working alongside his father and grandfather, both proprietors in the suburbs of Cleveland. That experience gave him a deep understanding of what it actually takes to run a small company and a genuine appreciation for customer relationships.
Before founding Olivo & Company CPA, Nicholas spent over 17 years as a recruiting firm owner, giving him hands-on experience in the private accounting and business world alongside public accounting. He has worked across small and medium businesses in a variety of industries and brought that breadth of perspective to every client engagement.
First drawn to Southwest Florida on a professional and personal level, Nicholas now considers himself a local. He lives in Sarasota with his family and is invested in this community for the long term.
